Detroit, M.I. (July 31, 2012) - The Apps Alliance is thrilled to co-sponsor Mobile Moves Michigan, a statewide mobile tech event and hackathon running from July 30-31 in Detroit. The event brings together developers, tech folks, and stakeholders to showcase the wide variety of innovative mobile technologies in the state and to collaborate on new projects. Plus, it features the WIP Jam + Muther! of all Hack-a-thons, put on by the internationally renowned Wireless Industry Partnership.
Mobile technologies play a significant role in the state's economy and have been a bright spot in Michigan's economic recovery. At Mobile Moves Michigan, attendees will make plans to continue this trend and to shape Michigan into a national leader in the tech industry. The event's leaders see a great opportunity for Michigan in machine-2-machine/mobile-2-machine, business-focused mobile app development, mHealth, and telematics.
