Washington, D.C. - The Alliance concluded its Privacy Summit Series with a capstone event in downtown Washington on November 29, 2012. Alliance Senior Advisor Tim Sparapani moderated the panel discussion, which included representatives from Evidon, AT&T, the FTC, Future of Privacy Forum, and Spinnakr.
With its Privacy Summit Series, the Alliance has given developers a voice in the debate on app privacy. The series has made successful stops in 10 cities nationwide, including Austin, San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, and Boulder.
The Alliance and its members have been full participants in the multi-stakeholder meetings on mobile app privacy and transparency convened by the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications & Information Administration.
