In 10 years tablets will obviously be big, but I think the "post-PC" concept is over-sold. There are many parts of life and economy that are horribly under-startuped, so there will be lots of interesting development going on.  Also expect to see interactive displays in the environment becoming very common. As the price trends to zero, and networks are everywhere, it's a natural progression. In short, next 10 years will (hopefully) make the last 10 look boring.

Touch Lab is currently working on an internal product called Wejit. It's photo sharing for couples, mostly. You can post pictures to each other's home screen widgets, but it's not "public".  Must be invited by the other person. Android-only. Looking for beta testers!

I started coding because my mom is a programmer. She bought us a Vic 20 when I was very little. The Vic 20 had 5K of RAM. I was programming "choose your own adventure" games in Basic around 7 years old. It was on and off after that until college.
