Apps Alliance Announces New Members
More than 6,000 Developers and Dozens of Corporate Members Are Part of the Alliance
Washington, D.C. (May 17, 2012) – Today, the Application Developers Alliance, the leading association for the entrepreneurs building America’s fastest growing industry, welcomed new members to the Alliance. App Partner Development, Apptology, Banjo, ChallengePost, Marmalade, Thumb Arcade, TVCOFA, and Wink Nudge have all joined as corporate partners.
“The incredible growth in the smart mobile device market has created the environment where app development is expanding at a record pace – not only in terms of new apps coming to market, but also in terms of the number of developers entering this dynamic field. Such rapid growth heightens the issues developers face, and at Marmalade we’re proud to support the great initiative of the Application Developers Alliance and, through it, the global community of app developers. We’ve been in this industry from the very beginning, we understand the issues that developers face and look forward to working with the Alliance to ensure the continued success of this vital industry,” said Alex Caccia, President of Marmalade.
Banjo Founder and CEO Damien Patton said, “Banjo will be able to continue our amazing growth and innovation with the support of the Alliance. We are excited to be part of the group.”
More than 6,000 individual developers are part of the Alliance, and the new partners announced today join dozens of corporate members.
“The Alliance continues to grow in size and the services we offer our thousands of members," said Alliance president Jon Potter. "The newest members we welcome today are innovators, creators and the model of the app economy. We are excited to have them on board."
